Question meme

Well, Yuri has passed 16000 comments and Hibari has passed 800, and also I'm due. For Yuri Lowell and Hibari Kyouya.

Nnnnno not really. Most of what Vincent said just reinforced what Raven thought already: that Yuri doesn't think of himself as a good person or want to believe that he has done or can do really good things, that the only thing he thinks he can do is take damage and that Vincent wanting to hurt him is a cause of that, and that he is so convinced that this is what he should be doing that he's satisfied with it and won't listen to anyone trying to make him think otherwise. THE ONLY POSSIBLE EXCEPTION REALLY is Elliot, where Raven is willing to believe Yuri has maybe been a helpful supportive influence, but he knows almost nothing about that other than what Vincent said, so that's more an "okay maybe there's something there" than anything solid. Mostly he was like "okay fine Vincent maybe from your perspective he's trying to help people because he's trying to help you, and maybe Elliot, but he is not trying to help himself and you are not trying to help him either. And he's not trying to help anyone else."

Why does Yuri think Raven is asking for so much private information when Raven literally said he just wants Yuri to talk to him about anything at all about himself? And what would he like Raven to trust him with that Raven hasn't? (Part of Raven's thing is that he has shared a lot of personal stuff with Yuri, that Yuri doesn't even really seem to care about lately.)

THE THING IS the return version of "You should trust me enough to talk about things" is not "You should trust me enough to believe me implicitly," it is "You should also trust me enough to talk about things." And for a bit there Raven shared pretty much all of his feelings with Yuri! Though lately Raven feels like Yuri did not really absorb any of it. Meanwhile Vincent is not actually the only thing Yuri has flat-out refused to talk about. They fought about that plenty even before Vincent was even in the picture - the chair-tying fight was purely a lack of self-worth thing, and that is still Raven's major concern with Yuri. And even in canon he would not implicitly trust that Yuri wasn't doing something self-destructive on his own and not telling him about it, because Yuri... does that in canon too. It's only worse in Aather because of all the stuff that's happened.

BUT OKAY ERIKA :'D Let's see if I can be more concise than I was in my app. (Which I actually just submitted yesterday, yay)

Erika is teenage girl who is a self-proclaimed detective and intellectual rapist! Umineko is essentially a meta fight of mystery vs. fantasy via attempts to explain a bunch of closed-room murders on an isolated island without magic. There are actually several alternate universe "games" where the murders happen differently but all with basically the same result (all 18 people on the island dead). Erika shows up in the fifth game, playing on the mystery side. She coincidentally falls off a cruise ship and washes up on the island just before the murders start and the family takes her in as a guest, so she's set up to be the detective of the story.

And she is kind of completely crazy. While she's capable of acting polite enough, she loves solving puzzles and being right and doesn't care whose feelings she stomps on in the process. And the process may involve climbing around a house in the dead of night in a typhoon to duct tape all the windows closed... before anything has actually even happened. Or secretly chopping the heads off murder victims to make sure they aren't actually just playing dead. Basically she wants to completely crush and humilate her opponents in any logic battle, no matter how trivial, and whatever she has to do to do that doesn't matter. :'D She also haaaaaates losing and being wrong, and punishes subordinates who fail her by ordering them to stand on one leg with their hands at their sides and not catch themselves when she shoves them over to fall on their faces dozens of times... and stuff like that...

I'm pretty sure she could give anyone in Aather a run for their money on the cruel and unhinged front, essentially. Beatrice is basically no longer a player by the time Erika shows up, but compared to Erika Beatrice is... actually relatively kind and fair, at least meta-ly. I still don't... know what team Erika will be on or how it will work out at all but she should be... very interesting... in games in particular. Assuming I don't reconsider the merits of this app before she gets placed.

Do you have any specific stuff you want to do with Hibari? Does he have stuff he wants to do? (Other than fight people I guess?)
